A-ha! A Quiet Sign
Jesus’ ministry, according to John, begins at a celebration. Weddings in the first century were week long elaborate affairs that demonstrated the host’s abundance and generosity. But at this wedding, a miscalculation could mean trouble.
Prodded by his mother, Jesus not only saves this feast – but makes it so that everyone receives the same abundance. It’s more than being obedient, more than turning into wine. It’s about all being welcome to the feast.
Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on your faith journey, know that you are most welcome here.
Joins us for worship on Sunday, January 17 at 8 & 10:15 AM. There will be Faith Formation for the youth beginning at 9:15 AM.
Blessings,
Pastor Tina
