A-ha! The Word made Flesh
This week, we encounter Jesus’ ministry start through the words of Luke. Jesus has been preaching in the region and people are excited. But when Jesus goes home to Nazareth, that’s not so much the case. How can this boy read so well and make claims that about fulfilling scripture?
Luke leaves us a clue – it is through the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus is able to do these things. And it is the power of the Holy Spirit that liberates us to use our gifts to serve one another.
Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself on your faith journey, know that you are most welcome here.
