Easter 2: Alive & New
The resurrection of Jesus ushers in a new way of living for everyone. This Sunday, the disciples are still trying to figure that out – in a locked room. What does it mean to believe, to live in faith? Are we like Thomas? the disciple Jesus loved? Mary Magdelene?
The Good News – Jesus gives us the tools and the spirit to help navigate the world as faithful disciples of Christ. Come and join us!
This week we will also welcome Domenic and Dante into the body of Christ through the Sacrament of Baptism.
Come and worship with us at 8 AM or 10:15 AM. There is no Faith Formation this weekend.
Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself in your journey, know that you are most welcome here.
Blessings,
Pastor Tina
Thanks: to all who set-up, prepared, shared, and cleaned up the Easter Breakfast. Also thanks to Ed Schunk for his extra Easter Vigil help!
Save the Date: There will be an Inter-generational Spring Tea on Saturday April 23 from 3-5 PM. Mothers and sons, Dads and daughters, Grandparents & grandkids – however it works for your family to spend time with each other. There will activities and of course, ‘high’ tea – and we hope that we are able to host this event outside. We are asking for a donation of $5/person who attends.
We are in need of small metal coffee cans for one of the activities, preferable with the lids. These can be dropped off in the resource room. Our goal is 50. We have 15.
Sign up sheets will be available this weekend!
Communion Preparation:
We are starting another spring session of Communion Preparation for our young people on Monday, April 4 at 6:30 PM. If you feel your child is ready to learn about this sacrament or you’d like to refresh your own understanding, please join us.

Friday April 8 is the date. Underground Church & lock-in is the event. All youth grades 6-8 are invited (with permission slip) to attend a spring Friday night lock-in featuring Underground Church (manhunt + scavenger hunt) and fun. We start at 7 PM and will unlock at 8 AM. Bring stuff for an overnight and a snack to share. More info? Contact Pastor Tina ASAP.
