EX-GIANT LEE ROUSON – will be the special guest speaker at a Sat., June 12 rally entitled, “Who Are You Really?; a Champion’s Vision” discussing , drugs, anger, racism and identity crisis. The rally will be held from 2 – 3 p.m. at the Sussex County Mall, Harbor Freight Store parking lot at 15 Hampton House Rd., Newton. Lee recently worked as manager for the mentoring and leadership program in the Mt. Olive Twp. School District. Bring a chair and your questions for the pro football player with a message of Hope.

MASKS STILL REQUIRED – The change in NJ’s masking requirements came in too late for Council to review at their 5/24 meeting so a decision will be made at the 6/28 meeting.

SOTH “SPOKESPETS” – our very own Holly Hassa and Jackson Whipple, both shelter rescues, are featured on the Ecumenical Food Pantry pet food ministry poster now on display in our narthex. Please bring donations during the month of June so we can proudly support our SOTH celebrities and to help all of those in need!
GRADUATE RECOGNITION SUNDAY – Will be on 6/20. Please email office@sothnj.org by 6/13 to have your graduate invited and recognized. Please include the name of the school and plans for the fall.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION RESTART – A brainstorming session regarding the re-start of our Sunday School and Christian Ed. program will be held on Tues. 6/22 at 7 p.m. in church. We are excited about the new possibilities as we look forward to the fall. Volunteers are needed to share ideas and make some long awaited plans for our children. Your help is needed!
