God’s Work. Our hands. T-Shirts…do you have your SOTH God’s Work, Our hands T-shirt?  We have some still available for purchase for $10.  We are wearing these this year everytime we head into the community to live out the Gospel.  Get yours before they are all gone!

Faith Kitchen Prep & Underground Church: The question is – are you up for a fun night?  The confirmation kids are planning and prepping for the Faith Kitchen meal on Friday, November 4 beginning at 6 PM.  Following prep, we will have an adventure.  All youth in 6-8th grade are welcome to join us – bring a loaf of bread and a completed permission/medical form.  

Faith Kitchen Service: Saturday, November 5 we are scheduled to serve lunch with the Amma prayer group.  Pastor Tina is leading this trip and is looking for a few good hands and feet.  Email/call her if you are able to go.  And don’t forget to wear your church shirt!

All Saints Sunday: This is a heads up for Sunday, November 6 – the day when we will remember those who have died in Christ.  There will be a candle ceremony for all those who have died. We will also remember those who have died in the last year in our prayers. We will do this at all three worship services.

Also, at the end of the 10:15 worship service, we will dedicate the memorial garden that was constructed by Joe Schwab for his Eagle Scout project.  We give thanks for his work and dedication to his project.

Special Council Meeting: The Church Council will meet at 12 PM on Sunday November 6 in preparation of the 2017 Fiscal Year Revenue Forecast and Spending Plan.  Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to do the work of the this assembly.

Fall Clean-up:  Saturday, November 12 at 8 AM & November 13 at 11:45 AM.  Bring your best yard tools and your enthusiasm as we prepare the grounds for winter.

Ecumenical Prayer Cycle:  We join with Christians around the world praying for our brothers and sisters in joy and concern.  For the week of November 6 – November 12, we pray for Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda . Learn more about these countries when you click on the link, which will direct you to the World Council of Churches website.
