Episode 3: Return of the Baptist

The prophet – a man who preached repentance and baptism – is causing a commotion on the edge of the Empire.  Normally, this man would be silenced – but he’s attracting too much interest and desire.  And that’s odd because his message to the people is not what you’d expect.

The Baptist has returned – one who is like Elijah – bringing Good News of a better way of living.  What shall we do?  Change your heart.  Live in love of your neighbor. And wait for the one who is coming.

Wherever you are and however you find yourself on your faith journey this morning, know that you are most welcome here.

We invite you to worship with us on Sunday December 13 at 8 & 10:15 AM.  Adult Forum begins at 9 AM this week with a presentation from Rev. Parks regarding “Five Wishes. Faith Formation begins at 9:15 AM and they will study about a child called Immanuel.

Blessings to you and all this Advent Season.  Pastor Tina
