Mission… Impossible?

No doubt you are familiar with the television series and movie series “Mission Impossible.”  Sometimes life itself can seem like an impossible mission, right?  Well, Jesus can relate to our struggles as he once commissioned his disciples to complete a task, which, initially presented itself like an impossible chore.  Find out more (and how this relates to you) this Sunday when PJ delivers his message “Mission… Impossible?” You’ll also discover that nothing is truly impossible once God takes the helm.  Don’t miss this encouraging sermon and pep talk from the Scriptures.

MATCHING MORTGAGE GRANT from Synod Congregational Debt Reduction Fund. The Synod will provide up to $2 in matching funds for every $1 our congregation raises and pays toward our mortgage principal. An email was sent on May 12 explaining this exciting opportunity. Every dollar we move from interest to ministry allows us to do so much more here at SOTH. How to give by June 30: Please mark your gift “Mortgage Principal” and give (1) by check, (2) through our online giving in Vanco or Clover/Credit Card or (3) by donation of appreciated securities which can reduce capital gains tax. PET FOOD MINISTRY – During the month of June, we are collecting pet food items for the Sparta Food Pantry. Let’s help their clients keep their pets healthy. Deadline is June 28. The pets will thank you!

WEEKEND BAG PROGRAM – boxes of pasta and spaghetti sauce (not pasta sauce) are needed.
