New Worship Service: The Nurture Team & Pastor Tina invite you to a new worship experiment – Sunday evening worship beginning August 7 at 6 PMin the Sanctuary. Our ‘experiment’ will begin with a spoken service of Word & Sacrament. We’re starting small but filled with faith. If you have questions or would like to help spread the word, let Pastor Tina know.

Wednesday Prayer Meeting: Each Wednesday from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, you are invited to join Barbara Osborne in prayer for the church, the world, and all those in need. If you have a specific prayer request, contact the church office.

Rally Day of Service & ‘God’s work. Our hands.’ t-shirts:
On Sunday September 11, we will kick off our program year with a day of service – projects that will happen on and off site. To show others who we are, we hope that you will join us in purchasing a t-shirt with ‘God’s work. Our hands.’ on the front, and the church name on the back.

Shirts are available in ranging in size from Youth Small to Adult 3XL. Each shirt is $10. Last day to order is July 31. Sign up at church or contact the church office.

So what are we doing on our day of service? We will support two local animal rescues – at their sites as well as here at church. (Yes – I’m keeping the suspense going…are you curious yet?)

Red Dumpster: Connect for Community is collecting paper and cardboard for recycling dollars as one of their fundraisers. There is a LARGE red dumpster in the parking lot at church for this cause. You are welcome to recycle your cardboard and paper here. PLEASE do not dispose of any other items in it.

Community Garden Year Two: The garden is growing by leaps and bounds! A first harvest of lettuce has been taken to the Food Pantry. The vine plants are thriving with this weather – as are the weeds! Make sure to take a look when you are here. And if you like pulling weeds, go for it!

Ecumenical Prayer Cycle: We join with Christians around the world praying for our brothers and sisters in joy and concern. For July 17-July 23 we pray for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama. Summer CHildren’s Lunch ProgramL Last Wednesday, we saw first hand how the program works for the summer. The following items are in critical supply: Shelf stable milk, Pasta, Cereal, Canned Soup

I spoke with Donna, the FP administrator, who said that any assistance – items, gift cards to Shop Rite, or cash donations – are welcome and appreciated.
