Fear and Great Joy

So… what does Easter mean to you?  More specifically, what emotions surface during the Easter observance?  How about fear… and great joy?  According to Matthew’s resurrection narrative, the women who visited the empty tomb felt an unusual dichotomy of emotions: fear…and great joy.  Can these emotions truly exist simultaneously?  Join Pastor Jack this Sunday for his stirring message “Fear… And Great Joy.”  Explore, with Pastor Jack, these emotions from the faith perspective which boldly proclaims ” I know my redeemer lives!”  Happy Easter everyone!

EASTER FLOWERS -Many thanks to all who donated toward the Easter lilies. If you have not yet done do, please remit $15.00 per plant and indicate “Easter Flowers” on your check. Donations can be added to the offering plate or returned to the church office.

EASTER BREAKFAST – Please sign up on the sheet in the parish hall to volunteer to bring a dish to share and to indicate how many will be attending.

IF YOU NEED A STRETCH during worship, the first room on the right in the ed. wing has a children’s corner and live feed of the service. Please see an usher for assistance. Thank you!
