When Love Gets Ugly

There is a lot of “love language” in the Bible… and we recall what Jesus said, “This I command you, love one another”.  But what happens when love gets ugly? How do we address conflict and the sinful ways we tarnish our relationships?  This Sunday, Pastor Jack cites the words of Jesus at a time when Jesus actually provided step-by-step guidance regarding conflict resolution. Learn how to follow the directives of Jesus whenever “love gets ugly” in your life, or whenever you find yourself in a less-than-desirable relationship. Explore with Pastor Jack the sound Biblical teaching offering guidance for these difficult areas of life.

SOTH has hosted the Christmas Festival of Lights in recent years, and we’re looking for congregation members to chair this year’s celebration. If you can help lead or serve, please contact a Council member by the end of July.

COFFEE HOUR HELP NEEDED – help is urgently needed to set up and clean up each week.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Shepherd of the Hills invites all first responders to wear their dress blues or Class A uniforms to the Sunday, September 13 worship service. We want to recognize and thank those who serve our community with courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Your presence in uniform will help us honor the lives lost, the heroes who responded, and the families forever changed.
