How Are We Transfigured?

This Sunday we will observe a festival known as “The Transfiguration of Our Lord”.  We’ll share the Scripture narrative about the day Jesus was spiritually transfigured before Peter, James, and John.  This all begs the question:  “How are we transfigured by the Spirit of God?”  Join Pastor Jack as he explores four ways the Spirit transforms us!  Don’t miss this life changing and life altering message!

LENTEN LUNCHES – Each Friday during Lent, starting March 7 from noon to 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, on Church St. in Rockaway for lunch and a brief ecumenical devotion time. Pastor Jack will offer the homily on March 7.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION INSTRUCTION will be offered for all students in grades 3 and above. Classes will be Thursday nights, March 27 & April 3 at 6:00pm. Actual first communion date will be April 6. Contact Pastor Jack for details.

THRIVENT CHOICE DOLLARS – need to be directed no later than March 31. Please designate your dollars to SOTH. You can call Thrivent (1-800-847-4836) or log in to your account and do it through the Generosity tab. Please contact Denise L with any questions. Thank you in advance for helping SOTH.
