FOOD COLLECTION FOR LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES- Please bring the following items and place in the shopping cart:  
July 27 – Spices 
Aug. 3 -canned fruit (adult & baby)
Aug. 10 – canned veggies
Aug. 17 – pasta         
Aug. 24 – pasta sauce

FLAT LUTHERS – Please color and cut out the bulletin insert of Martin Luther and his wife and take a photo of them with you as you travel this summer. As we have done in the past with “Flat Jesus”, please send the photos to office@sothnj.org to be included in a future power point shown before worship.

COFFEE HOUR HOSTS URGENTLY NEEDED – Please sign up on the bulletin board in the parish hall.

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF PROJECTS – Please take a backpack or two from the narthex and fill with the supplies on the list included. If you would like to help with shipping costs, please mark your check LWR School Kits. Backpacks are due on Aug. 10.

BLOOD DRIVE – Many thanks to all who volunteered and gave blood. 20 units were collected, helping 60 people. Please consider donating on Thurs., Aug. 28 from 1-7pm as there is still a critical blood emergency.

RALLY DAY – Sun, Sept 7 at 9:00 AM, marking the start of the new Sunday School year for Children ages 4 through grade 6.
