When Jesus Arrives in the Storm

Have you ever been in deep water (metaphorically)?  Have circumstances and storms come upon you in life… and you felt out of control?  This Sunday’s Gospel reading and Pastor’s sermon address the reality that Jesus will come running… through your storms, to offer support.  Learn how Jesus appeared when the disciples were in peril.  And be assured that he’ll appear for you, too! Don’t miss this affirming sermon, “When Jesus Arrives in the Storm” as Pastor Jack shares comforting words for times of distress.

SOTH has hosted the Christmas Festival of Lights in recent years, and we’re looking for congregation members to chair this year’s celebration. If you can help lead or serve, please contact a Council member by the end of July.

WEEKEND BAG PROGRAM – boxes of pasta and spaghetti or pasta sauce urgently needed. (not tomato sauce or tomatoes). Prego & Hunts make them in plastic jars. No glass please.

COFFEE HOUR HELP NEEDED – help is urgently needed to set up and clean up each week. Please sign up in the Parish Hall. Also, please sign up to bring ethnic food to share on our special heritage Sundays this summer. Aug 2 will be German Sunday.
