Adult Education

Christian education continues long after confirmation. Bible specific studies as well as current events and topical issues are all means by which we come together to question and reform our definitions as Christians.

Wednesday Noon: Brown Bag Bible – bring your lunch and your bible.  We study a book of the bible that is selected by the class.

Tuesday Nights: Fall 2017
Beginning Tuesday, September 19, 2017, a bi-monthly Tuesday Evening Bible Study will start.  Our first topic: Open Your Bible.  We’ll be reading a book from Augsburg Fortress that guides readers in how to interact with the Word.  A $5 donation to help with the purchase of the book is appreciated.

Moms & Aunts at Gatwyns II – The third Tuesday moms and aunts are invited for a time of faith and fellowship at Gatwyns II in Jefferson.  We’ll have devotion time, share our highs and lows, and support one another in life.  The first Tuesday we’ll meet is October 23.

New Disciples: For those wishing to join the congregation of Shepherd of the Hills, Pastor-led New Disciples Classes are held several times throughout the year. These classes introduce the Lutheran faith, worship basics, discipleship and how we at SOTH engage the world.
