Behave as if you believe – there is joy in generosity

Our Creator God who has every resource available gave it all up so that we might have every good thing available to us! Because of his generosity we have eternal life and the riches that come from an inheritance of being sons and daughters of the King.

When you think of that kind of generosity, how can we do anything but respond in giving out of our abundance?  It’s hard as we live in an affluent society to give up the things that have – yet we are challenged to live in God’s economy of giving and equity.

This week we pray for God’s perspective on giving with a generous spirit.

No matter where you are in your journey of faith…know that you are most welcome here.
