P3: The Power and Practice of Prayer:
As the year of basics continues – we now turn to prayer. It’s both a corporate and a personal practice that we engage in – but often they seem long or uninspired. And I often hear – I don’t know how to pray. We know from scripture that we are supposed to pray, but we often struggle with how to do it, how to make time for it, and how to know if God is really listening. The next five weeks are designed to help us experience the power of prayer and inviting us into a deeper practice of prayer. This week we will look at the theological roots for why we pray as well as what gets in the way of our prayer life. Please join us for worship and discussion.
