I’m forgiven. Now what?
The what is this: we are also a people that forgives others. Today our perspective is broadened by the good news that God’s forgiveness is not based on our idea of fairness, but rather on abundant, unimaginable grace. And we are called to go and the same.
It’s not an easy thing to do. Again and again we fall back on limited human understandings of what is “fair.” What does abundant, unimaginable grace look like in the lives of Christians and congregations? It starts with us – on the ground, where we are, and spreads exponentially. There is no magic number to forgiveness nor are there conditions. It’s a radical departure from what we see and hear and experience in the ‘real world.’
Please join us – in person or online on our Facebook page, Twitter account (spartapastor) or website (www.sothnj.org). You are all beloved (and forgiven) people of God.
Peace and blessings,
Pastor Tina +
