Caution – God is at Work (Believe it!)

We started a new series titled “Behave as if You Believe It”.  Sounds tough, doesn’t it?  What do you mean, behave as if you believe it?  What?

This week, we are challenged in our belief that God continues to work in God’s creation.  If we believe that, than living God’s mission whatever the cost, striving for integrity in all that we do, and not withholding love and affection for God and God’s creation are the attributes that Paul, and all of us, strive to live by.  Otherwise the roadblocks of suffering, hatred, fear, and anxiety keep us from truly living in this kingdom, of truly being the hands and feet that bring Good News to the poor, freedom to the captives, food and shelter to the widow and orphan.

Caution – God is at work – in you and through you.

No matter where you are in your journey of faith…know that you are most welcome here.

All are welcome to join in a study of the Letter to the Romans.  It’s the longest letter we have of the Apostle Paul and every word is important.  We will discuss Chapter 5 next week June 24 at noon in the Parish Hall.  If you are interested in studying along with us – drop PTina a note and she’ll send you the study guide.

It’s planted!  And growing!  Thanks to the hands that started this project.  And thanks in advance to the hands that will help keep it alive!  Check out the pictures on our church’s Facebook page.

We took our first load of produce (lettuce, parsley, cilantro, and basil) to the Food Pantry today (June 17).  They were so thankful.
