Christmas Continues…Gloria!

Blessed 3rd Day of Christmas! The celebration we began on Monday continues through January 5 (12th night) in preparation for Epiphany. I enjoy this time – a time to ponder the love of God and the Word made flesh (all name we use for Jesus).

This Sunday, December 31, we will celebrate Christmas in a service of lessons and carols with communion at 8 AM & 10:15 AM. This is one of my (PT) favorite services of the church year. In the evening, we will pray Vespers (evening prayer) and share communion.

I’m headed back to New Jersey and will be in town Friday, having prayed with and watched over my grams for the last time.  She continues to linger, while moving towards the new birth promised in her baptism. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and understanding in this time.

One final reminder – all giving must be in the church office by Sunday, December 31 for credit to your 2017 statement.  Thank you in advance for your commitment to the work of this congregation as we welcome, equip, & send folks out in Jesus name.

Blessings in Christ,
Pastor Tina
