End. Begin. King. Shepherd

shepherd king

The group Semisonic wrote this lyric – every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end – and as we balance the end and the beginning – we celebrate a triumphant Christ – Christ the King

It is a day when we celebrate the reign of God come true in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  And we acknowledge that we are waiting for the coming of Christ – as both child in manger and the triumph of Christ keeping his promise.

So we celebrate the end of this church year and we lift up Christ as King, victorious over death and evil, and we remember that as we wait, we share the Good News of the Triumphant King in word and deed.

God is good all the time.

We worship at 8 AM and 10:15 AM.  Adult forum and Faith Formation are a 9:15 AM. Join us as well on our website, Facebook page, and Twitter (@spartapastor).

Peace, faith, and hope,
Pastor Tina +
