Filling Potholes

Growing up in Wisconsin there were two seasons:  winter and road construction.  All those orange barrels on the highways and side streets to repair the potholes and wear from cold, snow, ice, and salt. Just as a road is repaired, it’s time to break out the salt and snowshoes.

The Old Testament reading today points us as to the work we try to do to fill the potholes in our own lives – and shows us just how much we can’t do it.  But God walks in the garden looking for Adam and Eve and God walks among the earth looking for us – to accompany us as we navigate those potholes. God continues to look for us and to be in relationship with us.

Because God is not done with us yet.

No matter where you are in your journey of faith…know that you are most welcome here.

Worship with us this  Sunday at 8 AM and 10:15 AM!

Join us as well on our website, Facebook page, and Twitter (@spartapastor).

Living in the resurrection promise,
Pastor Tina +
