Holy Week News

Before we get to unfurl the Alleluias!, we pause to honor and remember the cost.

A final dinner and admonition to love each other – to be servants in love.

Trials and torture as a political criminal – because God’s kingdom threatens the status quo of oppression and rules.

A criminal’s death – abandoned by the disciples, antagonized by the crowd, alone.

And when it seemed to be over, when this grand experiment to bring change and life lay lifeless in a tomb…Mary Magdalene, Mary, & Salome find a tomb empty save for the angel…

And in fear and awe they realize that everything Jesus said was true.

No matter where you are…know that you are most welcome here.
