Wednesday Update

Blessings on this Wednesday to all of you!

I am grateful for your prayers and notes and texts to me and to one another.  It is so important to stay connected with one another in as many ways possible through this time. Please continue to keep up with one another. If needed, we will find ways to support one another for grocery, pharmacy, and other important errand runs. Email/call me if you need help or you are able to help.

I’m including a few things that have come across my desk (dining room table).

First, Augsburg Fortress is having a sale on the cranberry hymnals that we use in worship. They are also including free shipping, which is a HUGE deal. Maybe you want to have your favorite hymns close.  Maybe you’d like some help with prayers for various situations. Want to study the small catechism or follow the daily lectionary?  It’s all in there! Also on sale are the Spark Story Bibles we gift our young baptismal candidates.

Second, you may remember Vicar Chuck Ferreri.  I received word this week that his mother, Bette, died this morning.  Please keep Chuck and his family in your prayers.

Third, please keep the Seafarer’s International House in New York City in your prayers as they transition to a respite site for folks recovering from COVID19. until July 20.  Join me in giving thanks for their continued ministry to the seafarers (booking them in local hotels) and to a community in need.

As for our community…
Confirmation class resumes tonight!  Woohoo.
Faith and Life will meet next Tuesday to discuss what book we’ll read next…
Evening Prayer continues every night at 7:30.
Worship on Sunday morning is live at 9 AM and then uploaded to Facebook and YouTube by 11 AM.

Beloved – whoever you are and wherever your find yourselves, know that God loves you more than you know, God is with you, and God will never forget you.

Peace and blessings,
